Caffeine-benzoate sodium 20% solution for injection
Pharmacological properties:Has analeptic, psychostimulant, and cardiotonic action. It excites the CNS and increases the reflex excitability of the spinal cord. Regulates and enhances excitation processes in the cerebral cortex. Increases mental and physical work capacity and reduces fatigue and drowsiness. Increases the strength and frequency of heart muscle contraction. Expands blood vessels of muscles, heart, kidney, and bronchi. The action of the drug significantly depends on the type of nervous system of the patient, therefore the dosage is individual.
Indications:Diseases accompanied by depression of the central nervous system, and cardiovascular and respiratory systems (narcotic and hypnotic poisoning, infectious diseases, etc.). Impairment of intellectual and physical capacity, migraine, headaches caused by spasms of cerebral blood vessels, drowsiness.
